5 temporadas. 54 episodios.. El doctor Mateo Sancristóbal es un médico con muy mal carácter que regresa de Estados Unidos para ejercer en un pequeño pueblo de Asturias. Sus perspectivas profesionales en USA como cirujano eran muy prometedoras, pero su carrera se vio truncada al darse cuenta de que padecía fobia a la sangre, lo que hacía imposible la práctica de su profesión. Fue entonces cuando decidió solicitar el puesto de médico en San Martín del Sella, el pueblo donde pasaba sus vacaciones de niño. Adaptación de la serie británica "Doc Martin".
